Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical trait, body size, race, age, religion
  • Unwanted or unwelcome physical contact
  • Unwanted or unwelcome sexual attention

  • Disruptive behavior, heckling
  • Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behavior

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior either by Staff, Security, Volunteer, or by another FuMPFest attendee, are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, event organisers retain the right to take any actions to keep the event a welcoming environment for all participants. This includes warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.

If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome, please report it to Staff or Security. You can also make a report anonymously here: http://www.fumpfest.com/incident.php

We take all reports seriously and will do our best to ensure your privacy and security. All incidents will be fully investigated and we will take whatever action is necessary to prevent a recurrence. Our team will be happy to help you contact hotel/venue security, local law enforcement, local support services, provide escorts, or otherwise assist you to feel safe for the duration of the event.

Some of our performers include sexually explicit, controversial, and/or offensive content in their performances. Audience discretion is advised. Please refer to the content guidelines in the program book. If you have any specific questions or concerns about a particular act please contact a Staff member or Volunteer.
